Carl Pickens, who is on the short list of UT's all-time best athletes, had plenty to say about both games Friday after his round of golf. He caught a school-record 13 passes in the 1990 game, during which Kelly set a record with 60 attempts. Pickens' mark was tied by Joey Kent in 1995. "If you count the incompletes where Andy misread the coverage, I'd still have the record today,'' Pickens said. "I've only got Andy to blame for me not catching 20 balls right there. I'm still dealing with that.'' Pickens was once dubbed "The Dude with a 'Tude." His 'tude is in fun now, even as he lays it on Kelly with a straight face. Kelly: "I'd have four or five guys come in the huddle saying they're wide open every play. Carl said that every play, even on running plays when he was supposed to be blocking.''
