This story has been out there for a few hours, but now appears to be free from the paywall it was previously behind available to VolQuest (or other Rivals.com) subscribers, which means it still gets the dreaded ($). The Rivals.com sites continue to lead the way: AggieYell.com cites multiple sources that A&M has officially turned down an offer from Pac-10 Commish Larry Scott, and will become the newest member of the SEC.

Chip Brown at the Texas Rivals.com site continues to put information out there - there's a ton of stuff here including Mike Slive in College Station, a possible A&M and Oklahoma pairing, and one final effort to save the Big 12.

A lineman named Gooch and a TE named Power? We're on a roll. This story from KNS lists Power as a 6'5" 255 TE who originally walked on at South Carolina (he's a Myrtle Beach native). Power becomes the third commit from the 2011 class, joining LB Christian Harris and OL Alan Posey.
