I think Lofton will take those two free throws
over any number of threes, once you look at the score.

Woo for Lofton!

Well Joel,
I gotta get some HW done.  I'll keep tabs on this thread, but my celebration must be a little subdued now.

Thanks again for the threads.

New Ranking
Yeah, the new shiny #1 ranking is cool and all, but I'm just tickled to death to beat Memphis!

Smitty :: Alabama
Gramsey712 :: John Brady
Aerobab :: Anything pertaining to the "city" of Memphis

I despise the actions of the thugs that comprise the UM team.  I despise their arrogant coach and his greasy hair. I despise their "big fish in a little pond" fans.  I despise "Perfection" montages (I saw enough with the NE Patriots this year). I despise Memphian politics. I despise the fact that everything about that city is "Elvis". I despise the fact that I had to look at and hear about Elvis' daughter all night.  I despise the number of hours I've wasted in the car transversing the state of TN to visit an ex (not ex at the time). I despise their craphole of an airport.  I even despise Fed Ex, simply because they're HQ'd in this God forsaken waste of materials.  UPS is much better anyway.

Thank you, Vols, for causing me to wake my sleeping daughter as time expired!  I typically don't get vocal and/or animated after a game, but I was screaming and bouncing off the walls.  My 80 lb. dog nearly attacked me, as I was not exhibiting "dad like" behavior.

Incredible.  Thank you!

So...
how do you really feel about Memphis?

No need to hold back, we're all friends here.  ;)

Real Feelings
I could only provide my "PG" thoughts on this family blog.  I'll be glad to discuss with you when we're off the record! :)

I do hate me some John Brady.

Tennessee Volunteers Men's Basketball Team----#1.

I like it. A lot.

Go Vols!

In the tradition of RTT
WWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 here we come.  I did not sit down the entire game and could not stop jumping and yelling.  I know the SEC championship is more important, but man it feels good to be #1.  Wow.  Great game, great ending, and Derrick Rose is amazing!  How he hit some of those jumpers on the baseline, just wow.  Good game Memphis, but the Vols are #1!

And now... the BasketVols!

GO BIG ORANGE! GO BIG ORANGE!
JP Prince gets a one-game reprieve from my ire.
