The winner of the inaugural Rocky Top Talk Hail Mary Haiku is Tennessee blogger Corn from a Jar.  I generally would not re-post a comment about coach Fulmer's personal appearance, and, yes, Corn bucked the traditional 5-7-5 convention for a free form haiku, but his heave into the end zone as time wound down came the closest to a successful Hail Mary, and its predictive value simply must be recognized:

Brilliant.  Corn doesn't really win anything but the satisfaction of knowing he was indeed the best of our many failures.
