GVX: TROOPER TAYLOR LEAVING TENNESSEE TO BECOME OKLAHOMA STATE'S OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

The Knoxville News Sentinel is reporting that Trooper Taylor will be leaving Tennessee to take the job as Oklahoma State's offensive coordinator. Good for him. Bad for us.

This is a huge loss, I'm telling you. Good luck, Troop. Absolutely loved getting to know you.

SHOOT FOR THE TOP
For Taylor to go to OSU Fulmer must not of offered Taylor the job. So no need crying over spilled beer.
Now Shoot for the Top. Start at the Top of the list of OC's available and go down the list. Tennessee must get the Best OC they can get.GO VOLS and Good Luck.

GUS
WOULD LOVE TO HAVE GUS. TENN DOES NOT NEED SOME CONSERVATIVE PRO COACH COMING IN HERE WITH THE EXPLOSIVE TALENT WE HAVE.

Really, no worries
Truth is, none of us on here knew for sure if he was ready for the job or not. CPF apparently didn't think so. He's a great guy, great recruiter, and he'll be missed, but not missed too much. Really, I think a mostly-new offensive coaching staff could turn out to be a shot in the arm for this program

ROGERS
JUST HEARD A RUMOR THAT AUSTIN ROGERS MIGHT BE TRANSFERING, LIKE I SAID MIGHT NOT BE TRUE.

Memories
One of my favorite Trooper Taylor memories was not my own but my dads. My dad was at the Cal game in 06 at the Vol Walk and Troop looked right at him and said they came a long way for a whoopin'. I do wish him the best but am very very sad to see him go.

Chestbumps no more?!?!
How will we survive without the chest bumps on the sideline? Will we ever win another game? :(

Goodbye, Troop
You made it much more fun for the players and fans.  You will always be a Vol in our hearts.

This is just the beginning
Y'all watch. We're fixin' to lose some real talent as kids begin to transfer out of Tennessee to go play somewhere else. This is nothing short of devastating to our program.

We would have to come off with some unbelievable hires in order to keep our kids and I just don't see it happening. Don't get me wrong, I hope it works out, but I have a very bad feeling about all of this.

So much for next season's SEC Championship. Heck, by the time all this finishes filtering out, we'll probably be lucky to finish 3rd in the East next year. Hate to be Johnny Raincloud but, DANGITT this is bad, real bad.

All hail Jim Bob Cooter!

We just got over
the curse of Kelley Washington.

Now we got the curse of Trooper Taylor.
