Chief and staff kick tail at scrimmage, kick back at Bristol
This just in from Bristol Motor Speedway: I'm in a luxury box courtesy of my boss and his bank. Ten feet to my right are Tennessee defensive coordinator John Chavis and his assistants. 30 minutes prior to the race starting, all but Chavis took in a 20 minute power nap. Chief must have worn them out this week, as evidenced not only by the group nap, but by their domination of the offense in yesterday's scrimmage.

WOOOO!
Did you enjoy the race? I think it's pretty unfair that your first experience took place in a luxury suite. I'll still give you credit for being "deflowered", since you still had to negotiate the, um..."vast demographic" (to say kindly) of folks!

NASCAR! Woo!
And yeah, there's a pretty good disparity among the folks at those things -- from the khaki-adorned business-types throwing around 20s in the skybox to the bloody-faced dude, supported by a friend on each side, staggering down the hill among the empties and Nazareth tunes after the race.
Somebody needs to teach me some things. How do they keep track of everybody's places for cautions? What's a free pass? Why doesn't a teammate just cause a minor wreck in the "overtime" if his teammate has the lead?
Completely ignorant here.
