C-Lo's Story
-- hooper
Update [2008-5-2 10:12:45 by Joel]: Man, I really regret being so busy this week that I can't offer up a post devoted to praising Lofton, which he richly deserves. Fortunately, A Sea of Blue has done it for us. Don't miss it. Thanks, guys.
Not sure if you have heard or seen yet, but today it was released that prior to the 07-08 season Chris Lofton fought and won his battle with Testicular Cancer. Go to this must read Chris Low article to get the details as he tells this story in a way that brings a tear to your eye.http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?id=3376961
What an amazing young man. This is a truly inspiring story of character. Chris wanted this season to be about the team and kept this battle private. He shows us what sports and life for that matter are all about, the ability to go out and compete.
Thank you Chris for the excitement and joy you've brought us. We all wish you and your family nothing but the best.

Couldn't be prouder.
But yes, we're proud to call him one of ours.
