Up next, RTT#15 Nevin McKenzie. As always, the recruiting profile first:
McKenzie made the best of the wide open opportunity presented him by the decimated secondary. He played in all 14 games, had 35 tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles, two quarterback hurries, and one blocked kick. He was especially impressive in the SEC Championship Game, one drive in particular where the Tigers finally punted on 4th down and 36.

McKenzie wasn't exactly Eric Berry this season (who is?), but he was a solid contributor, especially late in the season. It seems like anytime we needed to bring pressure, he was the one called on to blitz from the corner, and he usually created some sort of havoc in the backfield, whether a sack or a hurry or a hit.
Verdict? Where does Nevin McKenzie belong in the Class of 2007, now that we've had a chance to actually see him play for the team?
