The 2009 Final Four team that returned four starters is now working to find a replacement. Why would a top-tier program lose their starting point guard one week before the regular season tips off with no statement from head coach Kim Mulkey available? Kelli Griffin, while not a household name, was a solid presence in Mulkey's system, and had started 50 consecutive games for the Bears prior to the announcement.
