Having read the book, I'm not optimistic the movie is going to be real accurate. And Sandra Bullock's Southern accent is weak. But hey, Ed Orgeron, Phil Fulmer and Nick Saban cameos! (though not in this trailer)
I'm tremendously happy for Fulmer. Interesting parallels: Fulmer is receiving the award the season after Lloyd Carr, who won the national championship one year before Fulmer and who was relieved from duty one year before Fulmer. Both were relieved when their programs were flagging and fan apathy began to set in.
Hmm. A shrewd PR move by the University? A horrid PR move by the University, giving legs to a story almost dead? Just a misunderstanding by everyone? Thoughts?
