Matt Ryan Wins Offensive Rookie of the Year in a Beatdown
Matt Ryan in a landslide. Can't say I'm surprised. And I can't say that he doesn't deserve it. I am surprised that Flacco didn't get any votes.

Ryan collected 44 votes, far in front of Titans running back Chris Johnson with three. Broncos tackle Ryan Clady had two and Bears running back Matt Forte got one.
The balloting doesn't indicate the outstanding depth of the rookie class on offense. Running backs Steve Slaton of Houston, Tim Hightower of Arizona, Ray Rice of Baltimore, Jonathan Stewart of Carolina, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice of Dallas, Peyton Hillis of Denver, Kevin Smith of Detroit and Jamaal Charles of Kansas City all were contributors. So were wide receivers Eddie Royal of Denver, DeSean Jackson of Philadelphia, Davone Bess of Miami and Donnie Avery of St. Louis.
Another rookie quarterback, Joe Flacco of Baltimore, helped lead his team into the playoffs.

Dear Santa,
As loyal Titan fans, there are a few things that I thought you could bring us this Christmas season:
-----A new contract for Big Al and My Bironas--as Titans.
-----To finish the season the way we started--with 5 straight victories.
-----For Coach Schwartz and Coach Heimerdinger to continue to be incredible coaches---and for them to be TERRIBLE coaching applicant interviews.
-----For Vince Young to be the quarterback that he has the potential to be.
-----For the NFL to wake up and stop scheduling the Titans/Colts as the last game of the regular season. We hate those people too much for that game to be meaningless. For goodness sakes schedule one of those NFC teams last. We couldn't care less.
-----For Chris Johnson to write on his wristband "Cross the goalline, then celebrate!"
-----For Michael Griffin to tuck the ball!
-----For Jason Jones to get a freakin' belt!
-----For Jevon Kearse, a handkerchief--oh wait, he's got one.
-----For Cortland Finnegan to never lose that fire, but don't go helmet to helmet on the quarterback.
-----For LenDale--A new touchdown dance for goodness sake.
-----For Justin McCareins--a good job in the front office. Now.
-----For Lavelle Hawkins--Whatever he needs to get on the field (you are magic Santa--make it happen!)

NEW YORK (AP) -- The NFL has suspended six players for four games each for violating the league's anti-doping policy. The players used a diuretic, which can serve as a masking agent for steroids. The suspended players are running back Deuce McAllister and defensive linemen Charles Grant and Will Smith of New Orleans; defensive linemen Kevin and Pat Williams of Minnesota; and long snapper Bryan Pittman of Houston. The punishment is an especially harsh blow to Minnesota, which leads the NFC North and relies heavily on the two Williamses to stop the run game.

Jason Taylor Done With Dolphins?

Looks like the fancy dancer is done as a Dolphin. I can't believe they would get rid of him. Has his work ethic or dedication ever been questioned? Seems like he is the only proven player I can think of that they have. I guess Parcells has a plan though. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
