Draft BlogPoll ballot: week nine or "weighting empty zereos"

Help. Really. Help.

23 Texas Tech --

Dropped Out: Tennessee (#19), Cincinnati (#21), Kansas State (#22), Georgia (#24).

How in the world do you weigh empty zeroes, the teams with no losses but no real wins, either?

And what in the world is Virginia Tech doing all the way up at No. 4? They've been hanging in nether regions since their first non-impressive win in the first game and the loss to LSU in the second, but that's their only loss, and their record's beginning to look better and better week by week. Still . . . .

Oh, what to do with Hawaii, the most eyebrow-raising zero-bearer. An untarnished record halfway through the season has to mean something, doesn't it? No?

Have I punished Kentucky too harshly?

What else have I missed?

Games I saw: The Tennessee Impersonators at Alabama, Florida-Kentucky, LSU-Auburn. A touch of Michigan-Illinois.
