Question(s) of the day: Montario Hardesty calls in frustrated

So Montario Hardesty gets no carries against Alabama on Saturday, expresses his frustration to a media outlet (see, I call VolQuest a "media outlet" instead of a "website," like the MSM does), and fails to show for a special Sunday evening practice. Of course, we hear later that the reason for not showing was that he was in bed with a 102 degree temperature and that he had in fact left a message on his position coach's machine to that effect.

I think Hardesty was actually sick, but two questions, hypothetically: (1) Is it ever okay for a player to skip practice out of frustration, and if not, what is a frustrated player to do? (2) What do you think the message on Kurt Roper's answering machine sounded like?

Go.
