So the Vols have usurped The Leader and defeated the Kentucky Wendigo. Today they take on their real foe this season, and it's not the South Carolina Gamecocks.
No, the adversary beating up the Vols this season is the Away Game. Despite a lofty 18-8 record, the Vols are 4-8 on the road, and three of those were at a "neutral" venue in Nashville. Tennessee has lost to Butler and North Carolina in New York, and at Vanderbilt, Ohio State, Auburn, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Florida. Those are, mostly, pretty good teams, and some of them where played without Chris Lofton, so it's not altogether surprising. Still, it would be great to get a road win and within one game of the magical 20-victory mark.
