Trooper Taylor riding off into the sunset is a huge loss, I'm telling you. The man is Midas, except with an on/off switch and without the donkey ears. He leaves everything he touches in better shape than it was when it was handed to him. I believe it. Ghost of Neyland believes it. Even David Cutcliffe apparently believes it.
Was Taylor ready to become offensive coordinator at Tennessee? Would he have been a good fit for that role under The Papa? I don't know. But I do know we'll miss him. Just ask RTT No. 1 Eric Berry, RTT No. 5 Lennon Creer, RTT No. 14 Denarius Moore, or RTT No. 4 Ahmad Paige.
Happy trails, Trooper. You're a five-star/ten-jar recruit in my book. We'll miss you.
