A running back in high school, presumed to be a fullback in college, on the roster as a tight end, 2007 RTT #31 Kevin Cooper played in seven games his true freshman year and assisted on one tackle in the 59-7 romp over the Ragin' Cajuns.
2007 RTT Ranking? Off. I frankly don't remember seeing Cooper on the field, and the stat box looks funny with only one tackle in it, but if he truly was a blocking tight end, then playing in seven games is nothing to sneeze at. There were 13 guys ahead of him in the rankings who didn't even play one game, including some highly touteds.
*Keep in mind that all of the info above the orange bar is all from the preseason recruiting profile.
