Ja'Kouri Williams
How is it that a guy plays 38 games for Tennessee and I have no highlights? Ah, yes. I only started tagging highlights with players' names two years ago. Apologies to Ja'Kouri, who I'm sure Clay Travis adores solely because of his apostrophe.
Williams redshirted in 2004. In 2005, he played in seven consecutive games and made three special teams tackles during the Rally in the Valley. He was also the guy who downed two of Britton Colquitt's punts inside the South Carolina five yard line that season.
In 2006, Williams played in eight games, mostly on special teams, but he did get a carry in the fourth quarter versus Memphis. After that season, the coaches moved Williams to wide receiver and we never saw him again.
Kidding. Williams played in 13 games in 2007 and fininshed the season with seven special teams tackles. He toyed with the idea of hanging it up after 2007 but returned in 2008 to play in every game except the one against the Gamecocks.
