Don't expect Monte Kiffin's defense to double A.J. Green. It's not that they don't respect him -- Kiffin compared him to Terrell Owens and Randy Moss in their heyday -- it's that they don't want to leave the other side at a disadvantage, either.
Don't expect to see more of Nu'Keese Richardson at QB, either. It's complicated, says offensive coordinator Jim Chaney. He's got a point that the base offense still needs all the work it can get, but could you not run that one play you know works more than once per game?
Don't expect Eric Berry to return for his senior season. Not that I did anyway, but his goals for his hometown -- which is apparently a much rougher area than I had envisioned -- suggest that he can't wait to help provide a safer environment for the kids (his younger brothers included, you'd think) living there.
With Emmanuel Negedu out for the season and perhaps his career, Bruce Pearl is moving pieces around to shore up the front court. "It moves Kenny Hall into the picture much sooner, and it may mean Renaldo Woolridge moves from the three to play the four. Steven Pearl has an opportunity to move up the depth chart.''
Tennessee is third and fourth in the nation in penalty yards and penalties per game, respectively. Georgia is 103rd and 115th.
John Cullen, Chaz Green, and Jawuan James are taking official visits to Tennessee this weekend. They're all offensive linemen, and if you haven't heard, we need some of those.
