Best Plays of 2008: A Score for Moore

In-game context: After Berry gave the ball to his offense in field goal position and allowed them to tie the game, the Vols hit one other after its first possession of the second half to extend the lead to a frightening 6-3. And then, finally, this:

 

Impact: Hmm. Good question. Remove this touchdown and extra point from the final equation and the score would have been 9-6, Northern Illinois. Tennessee would have been 1-4, and this game could very well have been the impetus for coach Fulmer's dismissal rather than the South Carolina game four weeks later. But they did score, they did win, and they strung the optimism out just a little bit longer.
