A couple quick hits for ya.
- A little bit of perspective, courtesy of the Associated Press. Seriously guys, Vince Dooley's son? Is that really necessary?
- Wes Rucker and Tauren Poole didn't think we were ready to play on Saturday
"People can talk about it all day — ‘Oh, we’re ready to go, we’re ready to go’ — but when you get on the field, what are you going to do? Are you going to strap it up and go?" UT junior tailback Tauren Poole said. "We didn’t do that today. Not even close
- Dooley wants the Vols to finish plays. For example, he speaks of a pick six that didn't happen:
"That makes you sick," Dooley said. "There were several plays in that game where we had a pick-six, we had a sack that ended up being a touchdown . . . Those are plays and things that good teams don't do.
Notice from the quote that we aren't a good team. I kinda knew that.
- I say 13 is better than 10 when you're trying block a field goal. Don't hold back, coaches. Get the guys on the field.
- David Climer on the vast the number of freshman playing in the Georgia game.
Who is hoping for a strong recruiting class next year?
