Virginia presents a slightly different challenge for the Lady Vols tonight, with a notably taller team than the previous two opponents.  Not only has Lady Vol killer Monica Wright graduated (she pretty well beat Tennessee on her own in overtime last year), Virginia point guard China Crosby is out with injury, meaning that Virginia's game will be more focused on the interior than in years past.

That's not to say that they don't have good guard play, though; their top four point scorers are all guards.  Instead, Virginia has a little more height so it won't be quite as easy for Tennessee to simply pass above the heads of the defense.

On offense, Tennessee looks to further develop the in-out game with Cain at center and Simmons added to the rotation of guards who can shoot from the perimeter.  I don't envy Virginia's position, having to suddenly account for a freshman who just destroyed the previous two opponents.  Once Cain gets more aggressive towards the basket and Lyssi and Baugh are back, the team will be armed and fully operational for a potentially terrific season.
