Best Plays of 2010: Traffic? What Traffic? vs. Firing Long Again

Traffic? What Traffic? -- Tyler Bray's TD pass to Justin Hunter against Ole Miss

The Ole Miss game kicked off with the Accidental Touchdown. After another TD pass from Tyler Bray to Denarius Moore made it 14-0, Stars and Checkerboards made it 21-0. On Tennessee's next possession, Justin Hunter crashed the party with this beaut:

That made it 28-0, and the Vols were still only a little over half finished putting points on the board for the day.

Firing Long Again -- Tyler Bray's 45-yard TD pass to Da'Rick Rogers against North Carolina

As we said earlier, the Music City Bowl against North Carolina provided the Vols an opportunity to diminish the effect of the easy competition asterisk attached to Tennessee's four-game winning streak to end the regular season.

The Tar Heels got on the scoreboard first with a TD, and Tennessee matched them soon after on a 29-yard TD from Tyler Bray to Gerald Jones. After a North Carolina field goal made it 10-7, the teams traded punts for four series. Then, with under two minutes to play in the second half, Tyler Bray threw a deep ball from midfield to Justin Hunter, who made an incredible leaping catch, but landed just out of bounds. Undeterred, Bray followed that nearly successful bomb with this successful one:

Freshmen. Bray and Hunter and Rogers are going to be fun for the next couple of years, aren't they?

Anyway, the Tar Heels somehow scored another TD before halftime, too. Then came Janzen Jackson's End Zone Alchemy and Luke Stocker's Stayin' Alive and then . . . sigh.
