In-State OT Chooses Vols

Jack Jones, a 6'4", 265 lb offensive tackle from Murfreesboro has committed to Tennessee. Jones is a member of the class of 2015 and so will not provide immediate help at a position of need, but he does continue a positive trend of the Vols getting in on prospects early--Jones is the third commitment already from the class of 2015. And Tennessee can always use tackles. Jones spent this weekend at the Tennessee Exposure camp at Tennessee State, where he drew rave reviews for his quickness and overall athleticism, showing enough to win the Offensive MVP Award and garner his first two major offers: Georgia Tech and Tennessee.

Once Tennessee offered, it didn't take long for the in-state talent to decide, and Jones made his commitment official (well, as official as it gets before signing day in February of 2015) this evening. Welcome to the Big Orange family, Jack!
