Vols Announce 2015 Schedule

Seven home games including Oklahoma and a neutral site trip to Nashville highlight the 2015 slate.

Brett Deering

We've known the opponents for a while now, but tonight the SEC released the dates for each of its 14 teams for 2015.  Tennessee will play seven home games in all plus a neutral site date with UAB in Nashville, making five of the first six games in Tennessee with a road trip to Gainesville returning to its rightful place as the SEC opener.  The other big change sends Kentucky to October, creating what would traditionally be perceived as a welcome break between Alabama and South Carolina on the schedule, though we'll see how welcome that break actually is if the Wildcats continue to progress.  And the SEC West rotation sends Arkansas to Knoxville for the first time since 2007.

Here's the full Tennessee Football 2015 schedule:

  • September 5 - UAB (Nashville)
  • September 12 - Oklahoma
  • September 19 - Western Carolina
  • September 26 - at Florida
  • October 3 - Arkansas
  • October 10 - Georgia
  • October 17 - bye week
  • October 24 - at Alabama
  • October 31 - at Kentucky
  • November 7 - South Carolina
  • November 14 - North Texas
  • November 21 - at Missouri
  • November 28 - Vanderbilt
