RTT Pick 'Em Community Trends - Week 8

How our community is feeling about this week's biggest games.

Overall we have some shakeup as well; birdjam (as well as BZACHARY in 16th place) cracked the 100 win mark overall this week, but in confidence points drops to fifth as OriginalVol1814 takes the overall lead.  Six players are within ten points of the lead and 20 are within 50 points - full standings here:

In this week's action:

  • More people are taking the Vols to beat Ole Miss than took them to beat Oklahoma, so I guess that's progress on some level right?  19.2% take Tennessee in Oxford.
  • In tonight's double-header, 92.4% take Virginia Tech on the road in Pittsburgh despite the Hokies being only a 2.5 point favorite.  Likewise 79.2% take Utah on the road at Oregon State despite the Utes being favored by just 1.5.  Be careful.
  • 88.4% take Alabama over Texas A&M, 80.7% take Georgia at Arkansas, 90.3% take LSU at home over upstart Kentucky.
  • Much harder to call:  55.7% take Florida at home over Missouri.  The Gators are getting an average of six confidence points, this week's lowest total for a community favorite.
