Thursday Night Open Thread

Jeff Blake-USA TODAY Sports

We ask forgiveness from Georgia State, but tonight's the night.  College football comes roaring back with a huge night for the SEC:  South Carolina and Texas A&M throwdown on the SEC Network at 6:00 PM ET, Ole Miss and Boise State battle in Atlanta on ESPN at 8:00 PM, and Vanderbilt hosts Temple at 9:15 PM back on the SEC Network.  There's also a smattering of Dave Clawson in action at Louisiana-Monroe tonight in the evening's closest line.

You've still got a few minutes to get your picks in on our Rocky Top Talk 2014 pick 'em, where tonight's games are trending heavily in the East Division's favor:

  • 96.2% are taking South Carolina at home over Texas A&M
  • The same 96.2% are taking Ole Miss over the Broncos
  • 97.5% are taking Vanderbilt over Temple in the first James Franklin-less night for the Dores
  • 70.3% have Wake Forest on the road against the Warhawks.
This is your open thread for the glorious return of college football.  Enjoy.
