Oregon-Ohio State, college football championship: Livestream, game time, TV schedule, odds

Tune in tonight and watch this one with dreams of orange-flavored championship games just over the horizon.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

In years you can count on one hand, this could be us. Really.

Tonight, though, we must settle for watching others take their turns in the spotlight. Who are we rooting for? I'm guessing we Vols fans are mostly pulling for Oregon to do what it does. What it did to Florida State and what it's recently done to us. Because when you're not on the receiving end, running madly at the slowly disappearing heels of the victors, it's really pretty fun to watch. And what real Vols fan can pull for Urban Meyer, right?

And so the first College Football Playoff Championship Game kicks off tonight. It will be played in Jerry World, the Dallas Cowboys stadium, and it begins at 8:30 p.m. Eastern. It's on ESPN, and ESPN being ESPN, they will have a bunch of different ways to watch the game.
