We track your confidence in the Vols each week, the percentage of our players (who we assume are mostly Vol fans since that's our audience) who picked Tennessee in the contest.  You'll notice something new this week:

  • Bowling Green:  100%
  • Oklahoma:  72.4%
  • Western Carolina:  100%
  • at Florida:  81.3%
  • Arkansas:  91.9%
  • Georgia:  27.6%
The mood swing you've felt certainly shows up here.  The opponent is certainly a factor; fans believed Oklahoma was significantly better than Florida and Arkansas was significantly worse than both (or exactly what their record suggested).  Georgia's record suggests this will be one of the better teams Tennessee faces all year, but confidence levels have certainly taken a turn for the worse among UT fans.  Hey, if I'm Butch Jones, I use it.

Our community's thoughts on other games of note this week:
  • 88.6% take the Trojans at home tonight against Washington (9:00 PM ET - ESPN)
  • One person is picking South Carolina to beat LSU.
  • One person is picking Arkansas to beat Alabama.
  • 21.1% take Missouri as a home underdog against the suddenly mighty Gators in a game that will get back to being relevant for the Vols if they beat Georgia earlier in the day.
