The University of Tennessee announced today that this weekend's home series against Rutgers has been canceled due to inclement weather. This is in addition to the postponement of the game against Tennessee Tech that was scheduled to be played today. According to Dustin Dopirak with the Knoxville News Sentinel, the Vols will not be rescheduling the series due to the lack of an open weekend, but will try to schedule more midweek games to fill the schedule.

Tennessee is 1-2 on the year after dropping the opening series against FIU. It appears that the next time we'll see the Vols will be next Tuesday against Lipscomb.  Following that is a trip out west for a weekend series against UC Irvine.

UPDATE: The Vols have added 4 more games to the schedule to make up for the canceled series.  Those games are:

02/20/2015 - vs Lipscomb at 3 p.m. at Perfect Game's facility in Emerson, Georgia.
02/25/2015 - at Belmont at 4:30 p.m.
04/01/2015 - at Arkansas State at 6 p.m.
04/29/2015 - vs Xavier at 6 p.m. in Knoxville
