What you need to know
Name | Hometown | Position | Height | Weight | 247 Composite | 247 Position Rank | Stars |
Zach Stewart | Oliver Springs, TN | OG | 6-4 | 295 | 0.8649 | 64 | 3 |
Zach Stewart became the first new Volunteer on 2015 National Signing Day. A longtime Tennessee fan who has been committed to the Vols for almost two years, it's no surprise that Stewart was the first to sign his letter of intent, as he was the first pledge for the 2015 class. On the field, Stewart is a big bodied masher in the running game who plays with country strength and a bad attitude. Butch Jones has done a great job of returning a place of pride on the Vols' roster to local recruits who formed the backbone of Phil Fulmer's late 90s teams, and Stewart is a perfect example. No one will work harder, no one will improve more, and no one cares more than the Coalfield High School product. Welcome to the Hill, Zach!
