Tennessee Baseball Hosts Austin Peay

The Vols are back in Knoxville for a five game home stand.

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

Tennessee is back in action tonight after their first SEC weekend series of the year, where they dropped two-of-three against the Gators.  The Vols will look to put another in the win column against the Austin Peay Governors.  Zach Warren will get the start tonight in his second career start.  He started last week against Morehead State where he gave up four runs in 3 2/3 innings.  Warren also started in the canceled game against MTSU, where he gave up four runs (one earned) in 3 innings before the rain came and erased everything.

Tennessee is 19-4 all-time against Austin Peay, and beat the Governors last spring in twelve innings.  They also faced them for a scrimmage this past fall, where the Vols won 4-2.

Bret Marks pitched an outstanding game last Friday against the Gators, where he took a no-hitter into the ninth inning which helped earn him SEC co-pitcher of the week honors yesterday.
