The Volunteers' current top recruiting target announced his decision date via twitter on Thursday:
I will be committing at Bergen Catholic on April 15th at 3 pm. All media, students, & friends can come . #DeusVult pic.twitter.com/ByYk5xl621

Guarantano is expected to pick between Tennessee, Rutgers and Ohio State.
As I previously discussed, Guarantano had his home state Rutgers as his slight leader last week, but after visiting Knoxville on Sunday and Monday he's rumored to be leaning towards the Volunteers.

Sources have indicated to me that the coaching staff pushed for a commitment during the visit but obviously did not receive one. The fear is Guarantano will visit Ohio State and possibly be swung by the Buckeyes:
I am going back up to Columbus before I make a final decision . #BuckeyeNation

Tennessee has gone all in with Guarantano following the decommitment of Austin Kendall. If they can land him, they would be securing a player ideal for the offense and a potential heir to Joshua Dobbs in 2017. His commitment would also continue the team's ability to land the nation's elite in the face of the best competition college football has to offer. Butch certainly has the young people believing in the team's bright future, and with every talented player acquired, that belief becomes much closer to turning into a reality.
