The weather has been kind so far today and thunderstorms are, at the moment, expected to hold off until after today's festivities. I'm sure that will change by the time I'm done typing this sentence.
Yesterday's darker forecast didn't keep anyone away from Fan Day...
All wristbands have been distributed for Fan Day. We have reached capacity for field access. You can still check out Vol Village!— UTGameday (@UTGameday) April 25, 2015
...so it will be interesting to see what it does to the overall attendance number. One more time:
- 68,548: Last year's number, second all-time at UT
- 73,801: Orange & White Game record, 1986
- 99,391: Ohio State earlier this spring
I'm not sure which one of those numbers Tennessee is going to come closer to today, but the excitement surrounding this team is better than we've seen at any point in the last decade.
If you're not at Neyland Stadium today, you can follow along with our live thread here. The game will be available on the SEC Network's alternate channel and live online here. Here's hoping for no injuries, no rain, and even more excitement today.
