The Vols used Tuesday to add two Alabama players to their recruiting ranks, one for the basketball team and one for the football team.
Not even an hour after point guard Lamonte' Turner announced his commitment to the Tennessee basketball team, the Vols football team added Tadarryl Marshall to their 2016 class.
Marshall, a 3-star athlete out of Leeds, Alabama, chose the Vols over offers from Alabama, Auburn, and over a dozen other schools.

— Andrew Bone (@AndrewJBone) April 28, 2015
Marshall has done it all for Leeds, as he has played quarterback, running back, and defense. As a junior, Marshall threw for 1,062 yards and 9 touchdowns while running for another 1,045 yards and 9 scores (according to AL.com).
The Vols now have 9 commitments in their 2016 class with Marshall's commitment. Marshall joins 4-star offensive guard Brodarious Hamm as the most recent players to commit to the Vols, as Hamm pledged his commitment to Tennessee on Saturday right before the Orange and White game.
Marshall was one of many recruits who visited Tennessee this Saturday for the Orange and White game, so his commitment may not be the last one the Vols see in the upcoming days and weeks.
