Vols statistical rankings after Alabama and the bye

A grueling schedule means messy stats.

As always, playing Alabama does almost nothing good for your stats. And neither does playing the nation's toughest schedule. The numbers should start to improve now that the team is in the back end of the schedule. Let's hope.

Lots of work to be done here. Mostly, the offense needs to learn how not to get off schedule right out of the gate, the defense needs to shore up the run defense, and Derek Barnett needs some additional support in sacks, TFLs, and general havoc in the opponent's backfield.
