Morning everybody! As I'm guessing most are now aware, for the second year running (thanks Dools), no Vols were selected during this year's NFL draft, but a number of VFLs have signed free agent offers. Most recently, on Sunday DT Owen Williams joined the Falcons and DE Chris Weatherd took his talents to New Orleans. They join freshly-minted NFLers Curt Maggitt (Colts), Brian Randolph and Marquez North (both to the new-look Rams) and TE Alex Ellis (Titans).

Meanwhile in the NBA, VFLs are also keeping busy, with Jordan McRae (Cavs), Tobais Harris (Pistons) and Josh Richardson (Heat) all active in the first round of the Playoffs. Harris in particular put on a solid performance, averaging 14.5 points and 9.5 points in a (doomed) effort against the Cavaliers. Richardson, meanwhile, has had the slightly uneven first playoff series you'd expect from a rookie, but has waaaaay made up for it by doing highly entertaining stuff like wandering into a live TV set while texting and trying to eat the basketball. <3 you, J-Rich. The second-round Heat-Raptors series starts tonight at 8EST on TNT.
Rick Barnes currently has six incoming players in the 2016 class (#45 in the 247 Composite rankings), but the departure of Ray Kasongo, who requested and received a release early last month, has opened up another scholarship spot, which Barnes may or may not fill this year. Someone at All For Tennessee is calling for the firing of Dave Serrano following the baseVols' losses to Missouri this weekend (if anybody who knows anything about baseball wants to chime in here, feel free). VFL Tamika Catchings has a new memoir out. Tom Mattingly at the Vol Historian has a (distressingly incomplete) list of some of the eye-bleedingly awful jersey color clashes Tennessee has participated in over the years. TOO SOON, EDSBS ಥ_ಥ
- Lastly, in case you're feeling good about your workout, y'know, and really feel like you're getting it together, putting in that work, and probably deserve a lot of credit, y'know, for all your commitment and dedication and that, like, really, most people probably wouldn't have that drive and you should really be proud of yourself: if you're feeling anything like that, here's a video of how Jalen Hurd ends his morning workout.
You should probably just buy bigger shirts.
