Thursday is for offseason presser questions
Morning, all. As you may recall, the NCAA recently overturned its (month-long) ban on recruiting satellite camps, following outrage and controversy from various quarters regarding the policy. After the intial passage of the ban, Butch Jones, along with the bulk of SEC coaches and officials, said he supported the policy, but that the Vols were prepared to hold camps should the rule change. In an SEC teleconference Wednesday, Jones reiterated that point, though without indicating a place or time for the planned camps:
"We did have a plan in place, we continue to have that plan in place," Jones said. "It's constantly evolving with all the different camps in place. We will take part in satellite camps. ... We're going to continue to evolve our plan, but there is a plan in place moving forward."
Roster Notes Redshirt sophomore TE Neiko Creamer is reportedly looking to transfer, according to Butch Jones. Meanwhile, Rucker at 247 has a look and update on some recent player position changes, including Jason Croom (to WR), Rashaan Gaulden and Micah Abernathy (both to Nickel).

On Florida's player social media policy:
"That’s up to them. You got to go out and play. I don’t get caught up in that. That’s how a lot of people communicate today.¯\(°_o)/¯
"It’s the society we live in, so, you know, great."
"I kind of have to worry about us. I’m sure that they should be (favored) and they should beat the heck out of us. We’re just going to be lucky to show up.
