Of note, Tennessee and Notre Dame have swapped positions in the AP Poll when compared to the USA Today Preseason SIDs'Coaches' Poll. In the AP poll, Alabama received the majority of first-place votes (33), with Clemson (16), Oklahoma (4), Florida State (5), LSU (1), Ohio State (1), and Michigan (1) also receiving votes.
