RTT Pick ‘Em Reminder & Community Trends

You’ve still got a couple of hours to get in on this year’s RTT picks contest over at Fun Office Pools - thanks all those who have signed up already. It’s free to play, and you can join our pool here. We pick the best 20 games each week straight up with confidence points.

Each Thursday we post the community trends: how the pool is leaning in the week’s biggest games. It used to be informative in this space on how fans were feeling about the Vols. But so far, so good: 100% of those turning in their picks thus far are taking Tennessee to beat Appalachian State.

Elsewhere this week:

  • Vanderbilt is holding a slight edge at home over South Carolina with 53.6% of the vote in what is currently the closest call of the week.
  • Not much love for Missouri in their opener at West Virginia Saturday, with 89.5% currently taking the Mountaineers.
  • Oklahoma is earning 91.2% of the vote over Houston in the big noon opener.
  • Those going against the SEC’s two highest ranked teams are few and far between: one (1) person is taking Wisconsin over LSU, and only two like Southern Cal over Alabama. The level of spite in the pool is disappointing.
  • 95.2% like Clemson at Auburn, 83.2% like Notre Dame at Texas. Ole Miss does barely crack 20% against the Seminoles Monday night.
  • By this metric, the best games to watch on Saturday will be UCLA at Texas A&M (62.9% Aggies) and Georgia vs North Carolina (74.4% Dawgs).

Best of luck to everyone this year!
