Congrats to Rossboro for taking the Week 2 picks contest at 17-3 and 190 confidence points, a one point victory over spartans100. The RTT writing staff looked much smarter this week, with yours truly, Incipient, and Joel all cracking the Top 10. Incipient is in 10th in the overall standings which are currently led by spartans100; shout out to rsbrooks25 who is tied for third in confidence points while leading the field at 33-7 straight up.

This week? Better than last week.

  • TONIGHT! A whopping 95.3% take Houston on the road at Cincinnati, a 7.5-point home dog.
  • The Vols picked up 100% of the vote in week one, 95.3% last week, and 99.1% so far this week with one (1) person taking Ohio.
  • The most surprising stat of the week to me: Ole Miss has beaten Alabama two years in a row, which is the same number of people who picked the Rebels to beat the Tide on Saturday.
  • Close calls are absolutely everywhere this week. App State/Miami is a dead even 50/50! Florida State only getting 59% on the road at Louisville. Oregon gets 58.8% at Nebraska. South Carolina gets 51.8% at home against ECU.
  • Those four make games like A&M/Auburn seem easy by comparison: 70.1% take the Aggies on the road even though Auburn is a 3.5-point favorite at home. And 76.1% take Ohio State at Oklahoma.
