RTT Pick ‘Em Community Trends - Week 2

NCAA Football: Appalachian State at Tennessee Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Congrats to Go Ducks! (wait, what?) who took the week one picks pool via tiebreaker over carolinavol. Yours truly failed to crack the Top 100. Another 20 games are on the slate for week two, and college football owes us an apology for following up such an incredible week one with this random assortment. As such you’ll find far too many games in our pool this week with enormous point spreads, but a few trends to watch for either way this week:

  • Tonight Louisville is a 14.5 point favorite at Syracuse, now running the Dino Babers Bowling Green offense. But only one person likes the ‘Cuse at home.
  • The Vols pulled 100% of the vote last week. This week it’s down to 95.3% in Bristol.
  • The closest calls this week: 57.9% take the home-standing Utes in the Holy War, and the same 57.9% like Arizona State at home over Texas Tech.
  • In the SEC 70% take Mississippi State at home for the bounce-back over South Carolina, and 73.5% take Vanderbilt at home over Middle Tennessee.
