So we have a little drama leading up to this weekend’s Tennessee-South Carolina game. And no, it doesn’t involve Butch Jones or Quinten Dormady! Tennessee wide receiver Tyler Byrd sent this tweet out this morning, calling out South Carolina cornerback Rashad Fenton.
I just spent 30 mins trying to book a flight to “Fenton island” no air line recognized that destination I guess it doesn’t exist ♂️ ♂️

The tweet was in response to this video, which was released from the official South Carolina Football Twitter account.

Call me crazy — but it seems a little odd that a guy with two catches on the season would take to Twitter to call out one of the better corners in the league. Maybe he knows something we don’t, but Byrd has played sparingly this season.
South Carolina players... noticed.
How many catches you got this year #NonFactor ♂️ https://t.co/CL8NviusRE

Byrd kind of set himself up for that one. Regardless, trash talk is fun. It spices things up and makes rivalry and conference match-ups great. I don’t have a problem with what Byrd said, but I hope he at least gets a shot to back up his talk on the field.
