Tennessee has had a tumultuous season so far to say the least. The Vols travel to Alabama to play the No. 1 Crimson Tide. Alabama enters the game as a 36-point favorite and having won the last 10 meetings.
Can Tennessee do the impossible?
Conner Knapp: Alabama 52, Tennessee 3
(Season record: 5-1)
Yeah.
Terry Lambert: Alabama 42, Tennessee 0
(Season record: 5-1)
As Conner points out, just not a lot to say here. The only drama will be whether or not Tennessee can cover a historical spread. I can’t wait for this game to be competitive again.
Noah Taylor: Alabama 49, Tennessee 6
(Season record: 5-1)
Maybe I’m being too generous with the score here. Based off of what we have seen from Tennessee, particularly in these last two games, Alabama could basically pick their score in this one.
More interesting than the game may be the storylines Sunday morning. Will it be about how Alabama beat Tennessee by a score of biblical proportions, or will that headline be replaced by who the next head man in Knoxville will be?
Evan Winter: Alabama 44, Tennessee 14
(Season record: 5-1)
Look for Tennessee to just come out and play ball this weekend, something they should have done all season instead of micromanaging every aspect of each game. Unfortunately, even if Tennessee played their best game - it still wouldn't be enough to beat Bama.
The only team beating Bama this weekend is Bama and I don't see that happening.
