CBS has selected Tennessee-Alabama to be their national, 3:30 game on October 21st. The game will be played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
This one’s going to be fun.

We’re heading to Tuscaloosa for @Vol_Football vs. @AlabamaFTBL on October 21st! pic.twitter.com/98HF670OVx
Alabama is currently undefeated and the number one ranked team in the country. They played a closer than expected game at Texas A&M last Saturday night. They’ll host Arkansas this Saturday.
Tennessee is coming off of a bye week after getting smoked 41-0 by Georgia. Butch Jones will try to get past Will Muschamp for the first time in his career on Saturday as South Carolina comes to town.
Even the most positive of Vols fans can’t be excited about this one. I’d imagine some will point to the 2015 matchup, where Tennessee had a shot to win late. But Josh Dobbs isn’t walking through that door. Tennessee has some big offensive issues to iron out. Hopefully we’ll see some improvement against the gamecocks this weekend.
