The rumors and reports are flying around today. On a day that began with a lot of momentum around Dan Mullen to Tennessee, things have shifted to Florida, per Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.
SOURCE: Florida is targeting Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen as its next head coach. Decision expected by the end of the day.

Florida missed out on Chip Kelly and Scott Frost appears destined for Nebraska. Naturally, their search has turned to Mullen — a former Florida assistant. I wrote out this scenario last week. I really didn’t want to find out what name came after Dan Mullen in this search.
Almost simultaneously, Dan Wolken reported that the Tennessee search had focused on Greg Schiano. That goes against what we’ve heard about Schiano to this point, but if you get told no enough, the search could definitely end up here.
Schiano is currently the defensive coordinator at Ohio State. He famously brought Rutgers to prominence in the mid-2000s, before taking the Tampa Bay Buccaneers job.
Stay tuned. Things are moving quickly today.
