11/27/17: 2:38 PM: The pitch has been made by John Currie, per Chris Low of ESPN. Now we wait. I wouldn’t expect too much action tonight as Gundy sleeps on it.
Tennessee AD John Currie has made his pitch to Mike Gundy today in Dallas. Oklahoma State is home for Gundy, but he talked last week by phone with Peyton Manning and was impressed. Vols are prepared to make Gundy one of the SEC’s highest paid coaches if he takes the job.

11/28/17, 11:00 AM: GoPokes.com reports that Tennessee is meeting with Gundy today in Dallas.
Go Pokes knows that Gundy will meet with Tennessee athletic director John Currie at 11 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) in Dallas. Gundy was in Oklahoma City recruiting on Monday and was asked by Tennessee to meet on that day but, Gundy told them he was busy. The two parties agreed to meet Tuesday in Dallas.

With Duke's David Cutcliffe and Iowa State's Matt Campbell out of the picture, Tennessee has turned its coaching search focus to Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy. Three sources told me UT has interviewed Gundy, perhaps in Dallas. UT offered Gundy in 2012 but he said declined.
