The big day has arrived. The college football world will usher in a new era of recruiting today through Friday as the early signing period gets underway. Learn about it all here, from a Tennessee point of view.

Update: 10 PM (Tuesday)

Tennessee quarterback target JT Shrout decommits from Cal. He is expected to sign on Wednesday, likely with Tennessee.

Three star OL Tanner Antonutti is the first to sign.

Three star Punter Paxton Brooks has sent in his papers.

Three star OL Ollie Lane has signed with Tennessee

Three star RB Jeremy Banks announced that he will sign with Tennessee.

Top rated JUCO tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson was set to commit this morning, but he’s now pushed that back to the early evening. Tennessee got in late here. Alabama is thought of as the leader.

Four star DT Brant Lawless makes it official, signing with Tennessee.


Update: 2:00 PM

Five Star OT and longtime Tennessee commit Cade Mays signs with the Georgia Bulldogs. Former Tennessee OL coach Sam Pittman is credited with pulling Mays, making this even more of a gut punch for Tennessee fans. Georgia has now added Mays to the mix, along with the No. 1 and No. 2 guards in the country. They’ve also landed Justin Fields, the No. 1 quarterback prospect to go along with the No. 1 and No. 3 running back prospects.

Four star defensive end Greg Emerson is now official.


Update: 4:40 PM

Four star JUCO TE Dominick Wood-Anderson has signed with Tennessee. The 6-4, 245 pounder picked Tennessee over Alabama and Texas A&M.


Update: 8:40 PM

JUCO pass rusher Jordan Allen announced that he will be signing with the Vols. There’s some immediate help on the edge for Tennessee.

Jordan Allen makes things official.

Alontae Taylor’s papers are in. He’s officially a Vol. Barring a surprise, this will likely be the last of Tennessee’s early signings.
