Preview: Tennessee Volunteers versus Furman Paladins

The Volunteers host the Furman Paladins in a late start tonight at TBA. Stub-Hub has 56 tickets left. Get them while they're hot! The Paladins, leaders of the Southern Conference at 9-3, come into the game on a five game win streak. They are lead by Knoxville native, Devin Sibley. His slash line is impressive at 15.7/4.3/2.7 but his most outstanding statistic is his accuracy from beyond the arc where he is knocking down 45% (27 of 60).

The Southern is no slouch conference. The ETSU Bucs gave #10 Xavier all they could handle and Alabama had to rally to beat Mercer. Rick Barnes needs to continue to reinforce game to game, segment to segment improvement to his youthful cast. This will be the last home polishing the Volunteers get before heading out on the road to face the ACC's Wake Forest, 12/23, followed by their SEC opener on the road at Arkansas 12/30.
