The early signing period brought Tennessee 13 new signees to their 2018 class, leaving Jeremy Pruitt and his staff plenty of room to grow before the traditional national signing day date. One key area of need that Tennessee had to shore up was the offensive line.
Four star JUCO offensive tackle Jahmir Johnson will make it 14 signees for the Vols. He announced his decision tonight, but signed with Tennessee last week.

He will add to the competition for Tennessee up front with Drew Richmond, Marcus Tatum and Chance Hall all likely returning. With Coleman Thomas, Jashon Robertson and Brett Kendrick moving on, you can bet offensive line coach Will Friend will be moving some pieces around up front to fill some hole on the interior.
The 6-5, 278 pound Johnson is 247 Sports’ 4th ranked JUCO tackle. He is the 14th overall JUCO prospect.
