Tennessee Recruiting: Vols Land Four Star Safety Brendon Harris

Another nice get for Butch Jones and company.

Tennessee picked up a big time in-state commitment today, landing four star safety Brendon Harris. Harris is out of the Chattanooga area, playing at Baylor High School. He held offers from Clemson, Ohio State and Florida — along with a host of others.

Harris is 6-1, 205 pound. He checks in at 274 in ESPN’s top 300. He’s thought of as more of a box safety and will bring some physicality to the table. Harris will likely be needed early to help fill the void left by Todd Kelly Jr. next year.

Volquest has some quotes form Harris regarding his commitment.

This is Tennessee’s 10th commit following the decommit of Jashaun Corbin earlier this week. Still, even with that news, this has been an impressive start to the 2018 class by Butch Jones and his staff.
